Genshin Impact 5.0 Natlan Special Program Summary: All Updates and Rewards You Should Know

Genshin Impact have announced its 5.0 Special Program for Natlan on August 16, with several big updates for players.

1. Version 5.0 Banners

The first Natlan characters come to wish pool will be Mualani, Kachina and Kinich, which Genshin have published their drip marketing in early time.

The 5.0 banners will be Mualani (5*) & Kazuha (5*) with Kachina (4*) in Phase 1, and Kinich (5*) & Raiden Shogun (5*) in Phase 2.

2. Version 5.0 Events

The Special Program also introduced upcoming events in 5.0, including:

✅ Traces of Artistry

✅ Mementos of Teyvat

✅ Of Thorns and Crowns

✅ Dodoco's Boom-Bastic Escapades," and other events!



Meanwhile, Archon Quest Chapter V will also come to players:

✅ Act I "Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn" (can get Kachina for free)

✅ Act II "Black Stone Under a White Stone"

3. Anniversary Rewards

To celebrate Genshin's 4th Anniversary, players can receive rewards by log-in:

Permanent 5-Star Character Selector

You can select one from Deh­ya, Keqing, Mona, Qiqi, Jean, Tighnari and Di­luc.

Also, Genshin confirms that this selector will become a regular reward in every future anniversary version.

Log-in Rewards: 1,600 Primogems & 10 Interwined Fates

Initial Top-Up Bonus Reset

After Ver 5.0 updates, each double bonus for the first top-up will be reset.

4. Updated Gacha System

In the 5.0 special program, Genshin also reveals its gacha system optimization by reducing fate point needed in limited 5-star weapon wish and increasing drop rates in character wish.

Details:

(1) Reduces maximum amount of Fate Points for "Epitomized Path" from 2 to 1

" The maximum amount of Fate Points for "Epitomized Path" will be reduced from 2 to 1. Once you've reached the maximum amount of Fate Points, the next 5-star weapon you win will be the one you have chosen through Epitomized Path."

(2) Increases drop rates for promotional 5-star characters

The new wish mechanic "Capturing Radiance" will be available soon. There is a chance of it triggering if you are not guaranteed to win the promotional 5-star character during the character event wish. When triggered, the 5-star character you win in this event wish will be the promotional 5-star character.

5. Artifact Definition

Item "Sanctifying Elixir" will be introduced for crafting artifacts with defined main stat and 2 sub-stats

6. World Level 9 Unlocked

World Level 9 is finally unlocked!

If you reach Adventure Rank 58, you are able to increase your world level to 9 and get 100 primogems+2 Acquiant Fate by completing Ascension Quest.

Note: Combat difficulty and Material drop will also increase.
