Genshin Impact Version 5.0: What to Expect from Natlan?

The other Teaser "Saurian Wanderings" presents new gameplays based on Saurians, possibly are exploration mechanics in Natlan:

1. Dig & Climb

Among them, the brown Saurian that resembles a Geovishap has the ability to use a digging technique. As seen in the trailer, it can burrow into the ground to move quickly and can even climb slopes in this form.

2. Surf

Additionally, blue Saurian with a shark-like appearance also has unique mechanics, allowing it to traverse on water and even lava.

Interestingly, the Natlan Preview Teaser showcased a character (Mualani) surfing on a small shark, reminiscent of the Surf ability in Pokémon.

It is currently unknown whether this is a character skill or the special skills of Saurian, pending to be revealed in the future.

3. Remote Fetch & Movement

The Dendro Saurian possesses a long-range item retrieval ability and a remote movement mechanism similar to Sumeru's Four-Leaf Sigil (can also understand as the Levitator and Grappling Hook in Wuthering Waves).

Genshin published an announcement about Version 5.0 Special Program Preview and confirmed it will happen on August 16th (Friday) at 12:00 AM (UTC-4).
