Our customer has a VPN (Virtual Private Network) app for Android devices that is both free and unlimited. This app hides the user's IP address, encrypts internet traffic, converts public Wi-Fi into a private network, and aids in the unblocking of websites and apps on Android phones, allowing users to access any restricted content safely and anonymously.

The app‘s name remains anonymous here to protect the privacy of our customers. To give you a better idea of ​​the app's story we're sharing, we show one of its competitors on the Google Play Store.

Our customer has worked with both large corporations and independent developers. When ASO World approached them to raise their awareness, the app had only a few downloads and plenty of room for expansion. The fact that the founder had no marketing budget made the task even more difficult. They needed to prove themselves and make their client happy, knowing that ASO is the most cost-effective way to acquire users in the long run.

Then we click one of these apps, for example, "VPN - Super Unlimited Proxy", to see the keywords list of this app. According to this list, we can determine some related popular keywords.

While the translators were successful in translating app ranking factors, they needed to add an ASO touch to those translated keywords. They used FoxData's Keyword Tracking, Keyword Explore, and Keyword Ranked to determine which keywords to target in different countries.

In just a few months, the app had a thriving install base of tens of thousands of users.

We assisted the founder with keyword and title optimization for the app to rank higher in relevant keyword searches, as well as app localization in 35 new markets.
