Following the Genshin Impact 4.4 update on the 31st of January, highly anticipated events such as the Lantern Rite are fully underway. To assist you in maximising your Primogem income and resource allocation, let us review the strategic dates and actionable priorities for February.
The first-half Event Wish introduces the new 5-star Anemo support, Xianyun, alongside the Dendro Archon, Nahida. They are accompanied by 4-star characters: Noelle, Faruzan, and Gaming.
Strategic Tip: Xianyun is a game-changing support for plunge-attack teams. If you plan to pull for her, ensure you prioritise farming Clearwater Jade in the new Chenyu Vale region. Nahida remains a top-tier pull for any account lacking Dendro application.

Throughout February, players can exchange Masterless Stardust for five Intertwined Fates and five Acquaint Fates (costing 75 Stardust each).
The rotating four-star characters this month are Beidou and Noelle, available for 34 Masterless Starglitter each. Strategic Tip: Save your Starglitter for priority top-tier units (like Bennett or Xingqiu) unless you are aiming to unlock a crucial constellation (such as Beidou's C2) for your current team setups.
Remember to check your in-game mailbox to collect their exclusive birthday messages and signature dishes.
By logging in for a cumulative total of 7 days before the 18th of February, players can secure 10 Intertwined Fates alongside other essential resources.

Execution Strategy: Allocate 15–20 minutes daily to clear event stages incrementally. The minigames are not combat-intensive, but leaving them until the final day will lead to unnecessary grinding.

Ensure you hit the requisite event milestone to claim this cosmetic before the event concludes, as it will cost Genesis Crystals in subsequent patches.
Players may invite one of the following characters to their roster:
- Gaming (New!)
- Beidou
- Chongyun
- Ningguang
- Xiangling
- Xingqiu
- Xinyan
- Yanfei
- Yaoyao
- Yun Jin
Recommendation: From an optimisation standpoint, Xiangling and Xingqiu offer the highest meta value for account progression. Yaoyao is an excellent Dendro healer if you lack defensive utility. If you already have these core units at max constellations, acquiring the new unit, Gaming, is your most efficient choice.
Completing all Lantern Rite tasks will yield an estimated 1,000 Primogems overall.
The second-half Event Wish features the 5-star Anemo DPS, Xiao, and Electro sub-DPS, Yae Miko. They are accompanied by 4-star characters: Xinyan, Ningguang, and Yaoyao.
Strategic Tip: If you pulled Xianyun in Phase 1, Xiao becomes an incredibly compelling pull, as they synergise perfectly to elevate his plunge-damage ceiling.
A cooking challenge event. To prepare efficiently, ensure you have basic regional ingredients stocked up beforehand to streamline completion.
In addition to prior login rewards, players will receive a secondary distribution of 3 Intertwined Fates, Mora, Dishes, and Fragile Resin via in-game mail to conclude the Lantern Rite celebrations.
This event centres around Hilichurl camp investigations. Utilise crowd-control characters (like Kazuha or Venti) to expedite combat phases during your field analysis.
As Bennett's birthday explicitly falls on the 29th of February, a leap day occurring once every four years, 2024 marked his first actual birthday celebration since Genshin Impact's release.
