Play Services v25.46: Media Handover & Find Hub Item Sharing

Apple introduces a new requirement for EU developers to declare their trader status in App Store Connect, ensuring compliance with the Digital Services Act and improving transparency.

Starting 17 October 2024, Apple requires developers in the EU to declare their trader status in App Store Connect before submitting app updates, in line with the Digital Services Act.
From 17 February 2025, apps without a verified trader status will be removed from the EU App Store. This ensures compliance with the EU's Digital Services Act, which promotes transparency and accountability in digital services.
Organisations will have the address linked to their D-U-N-S Number displayed, along with a phone number and email on their App Store product pages. Individual developers must provide an address or P.O. Box, phone number, and email address. All traders are required to submit payment account details and certify adherence to EU regulations.
Organisations enrolled in the Apple Developer Program will have their D-U-N-S Number address automatically displayed. They must also add a phone number and email address for public display on their app pages.
Individual developers need to provide their address or P.O. Box, phone number, and email address for display. This information does not affect their Apple Developer Program membership details.
